Arsenal’s summer is about to come alive, as the Gunners look set to complete the signing of Olympique Lyon Forward Alexandre Lacazette, more so Arsene Wenger is set to hold crisis talks with some of the club’s stars.
British media is reporting that Wenger is due back at the Emirate this weekend and one of his first tasks is to hold talks with the key duo of Alexis Sanchez and Hector Bellerin.
Sanchez has just a year left on his current Arsenal Contract; he is yet to renew his deal and wants to join Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, while Hector Bellerin is interesting Barcelona, and wants to go back home.
Wenger is prepared to Tell Sanchez that he cannot join a direct rival, despite the fact that City is ready to pay £50 million for the Chilean.
He would also inform Bellerin that they are not willing to let him leave for Barcelona.
The Gunners failed to agree on a deal with Sanchez before the end of last season, and their failure to make it to the Champions League next season has made the Chilean unwilling to renew his deal.
Mesut Ozil is also in his final year at the Emirates, but Arsene Wenger is confident that the German will renew his deal.
