Liverpool have reportedly held talks with the father of Real Madrid star, Isco. The Reds have been tracking the player since they were alerted about his unhappiness at being benched at the Bernabeau.
The Reds can offer Isco regular playing time and are said to have made their plans known to the player’s father during an informal meeting.
However, it seems they were unable to convince the midfielder to leave Madrid and he is now set to remain at the club.
Reports from Spain is claiming that Isco has decided to remain in Madrid after holding talks with a number of potential suitors. Per the source, Isco is ready to sign a new deal that would keep him at the Bernabeu until the summer of 2022.
These latest developments will be good news for Chelsea. It is believed that if Real Madrid signs Isco on to a new deal, and Marco Assensio continues his development at the rate he is going, there would be no need to sign Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
