Arsenal has been offered one of the most exciting young midfielders in the world right now, Rafinha Alcantara.
The 24 years old Barcelona star is the junior brother of Bayern Munich’s Tiago Alcantara.
The midfielder did not travel with the rest of the Barcelona squad as he is nursing a knee injury, but is expected to play a major role under the leadership of new manager, Enersto Valverde.
The manager has not had an opportunity to look at what he can do, as he has been injured since he took up his role as manager of the Catalans, and the club’s president says their stand is that he is not for sale.
With Barcelona looking to sign either of Philippe Coutinho or Marco Verratti, it appears as though the club does not have enough faith in the La Masia academy graduate.
Rafinha has also refused to verbally commit himself to the club, as he told reporters that his future belonged to God, and he does not know what it holds.
