Arsenal contract rebel Mesut Ozil has reportedly asked his agent to secure him a move to Barcelona.
Midfielder Ozil has yet to sign a new a deal at the Emirates and has only one year left to run on his current contract.
It had been reported this week that he would stay in London and sign a new contract, however, reports coming out of Spain are claiming the total opposite.
Spanish media outlet Don Balon is claiming that the German international has ordered his agent to make contact with Barcelona to sort out a move.
Ozil would be Barcelona’s second choice behind Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho, however, the Reds are refusing to budge despite the Brazilian handing in a transfer request.
It seems that the Catalan giants have decided that it is the English Premier League where they will find a replacement for Neymar, but who it will be is anyone’s guess right now.
