Everton and West Brom are prepared to battle it out for Man Utd outcast Morgan Schneiderlin, according to the latest transfer gossip.

Schneiderlin appears to have no future at Old Trafford, he is not part of Jose Mourinho plans and is probably never likely to be, therefore a move is almost a certainty.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman, is keen to be reunited with the French international in January and will reportedly make an offer in the region £20million.

West Brom manager Tony Pulis, has also made the defensive midfielder a priority target and is also prepared to match the £20 Million valuation.

The difference between the clubs is that West Brom have had an eye on Schneiderlin for some time now, whereas Everton have only turned their attention to the 27 year old after accepting they will not be able to sign Steven Nzonzi, the Sevilla midfielder.

It is hard to call where Schneiderlin will end up, all we know with any degree of certainty, is that he will not remain at Man Utd.
