Raheem Sterling has joined Man City on a five-year deal in a contract worth up to £49m.
The much talked about winger has been the subject of speculation for months as he rejected the contract offer from Liverpool, as he weren’t getting enough money.
And manager Manuel Pellegrini has hailed him as one the best attackers in the world.
As quoted on the Sky Sports website, he said: “Raheem Sterling is one of the best attacking players in world football, and I am very much looking forward to him joining our squad out in Australia later this week.
“He is a young player with outstanding ability, and I am sure the Manchester City fans will be very excited about seeing him in action for the team.”
