As Chelsea continue to look for credible players they can add to their ranks ahead of a title defence and European campaign next season, they also have to decide whether they would keep hold of several of their talented youngsters who have been spending time away from the club as part of a loan system that exposes them to more first team opportunities.
The Blues have old winger Christian Atsu to Newcastle where he spent last season on loan, and it is hoped that they would let some more leave on at least a temporary basis.
One such player is central defender, Nathan Ake.
The Dutchman had a great time on loan at Bournemouth during the first half of the just-concluded football league season, however, he was recalled to the bridge in January and started only one game in the Premier League from that time.
It appears he may be on the move again, and his former loan club, Bournemouth are in the forefront of the queue among his many suitors.
Ake who was named in the Netherlands squad for the next two friendly games and a qualifier, has admitted he is old enough to start playing regularly, signalling the possibility of a move away from Stamford Bridge.
