Bayern Munich defender and Arsenal target Rafinha has revealed that he rejected the overtures of some Premier League clubs to stay in Germany.
The 30-year-old Brazilian right-back was a strong target for Arsenal back in 2013 but opted to instead pen a three-year deal with the Bundesliga champions.
However, he has revealed that he was intrigued by England’s top flight.
As quoted on the Sky Sports website, he said: “The Premier League is a top league.
“But I have two more years at Bayern and I plan to stay here for at least this period.
“My agent has told me that he has been approached by some English clubs.”But I decided to renew my contract with Bayern and those English clubs went away.”
