Bundesliga outfit to open talks with Chelsea over transfer deal

German side Stuttgart are set to open talks with Chelsea over the potential transfer of the Blues defender Papy Djilobodji, according to reports.

Djilobodji has failed to make any sort of breakthrough at Stamford Bridge and at the age of 27, is unlikely to do so and a move is an almost certainty for the player signed only last summer.

He was brought in as a possible replacement for John Terry, but the truth is he was far from being a confident buy, he was only bought after Chelsea failed to land their number one defensive target, John Stones.

Chelsea will be happy to recoup what they paid for the player and as long as the Bundesliga outfit offer £3 Million, then it is likely he will be sold this January.
