Championship outfit keen on doing a deal with Arsenal over defender
Birmingham coach Gianfranco Zola, has indicated his club’s interest in keeping Arsenal Loanee, Krystian Bielik for another season.
The Polish defender joined Birmingham towards the end of January, and after initially struggling to get game time, he has gone on to become an important part of the club’s set up.
The 19 year old joined for just six months but his recent upturn in form has seen the club willing to sign him on to another loan deal next season.
Speaking to reporters, Zola confirmed that the club would soon enter into negotiations with the Gunners on the possibility of signing the player on loan for the whole of next season.
Arsenal have exciting youngsters coming through their academy, and are always willing to let their players go out on-loan to aid their development.
The Gunners are said to be impressed by the fact that the player is been involved in the club’s games and is not just used as a substitute. This factor alone will likely make the Gunners let the player stay for another season.
