Diego Costa is no longer willing to wait on Atletico Madrid as the Spaniards seem to have other plans.
Costa has been declared surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge after he flirted with the idea of leaving the Blues during the winter transfer window. Antonio Conte sent him a text message to inform him that he has been axed from his first team squad this coming season, and he was excused from preseason to try and find a new team.
However, Costa only wants to join Atletico Madrid his former club, and the Madrid based club also wants him, however, they have been very relaxed about making a move for him and he is beginning to run out of patience.
AC Milan is strongly interested in Costa as they look for a Marquee signing that would boost the club’s profile, and Costa has indicated that he is ready to talk to them having refused discussion with other clubs earlier in the summer.
Chelsea has signed Alvaro Morata to replace Costa and would be looking for at least £30 million from his sale.
