Despite not being trusted by his manager Antonio Conte, it appears as though Chelsea attacker, Michy Batshuayi is contented with remaining a squad player at Chelsea rather than play more at another club.
Talk Sport is reporting that Turkish giants Galatasaray had offered the Belgian an escape route from his Stamford Bridge misery, but he turned it down. The Belgian was the top scorer at his previous club Olympique Marseille which made Chelsea splash out £33 million to land him last summer, and it is surprising that he is content with staying as a squad player.
The Blues are still struggling to land another attacker after telling Diego Costa to find a new club, this may be the reason why Batshuayi is not keen on leaving Stamford Bridge just yet.
Antonio Conte is still pursuing a deal for his former player, Alvaro Morata and the Blues are hoping to reach a compromise on the Spain international ahead of the new season. The arrival of Morata would obviously mean more time on the substitutes’ bench for Batshuayi.
