According to reports from the Spanish media, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has added Karim Benzema to his list of summer targets. The Italian who has been tracking the Frenchman’s Real team-mate Alvaro Morata, believes Benzema’s experience in the Champions League would help Chelsea next season.

Conte has been looking at a number of players recently as he searches for a replacement for the unsettled Diego Costa. Costa has refused to rule out a move away from Chelsea and the Italian does not want to find himself in a situation whereby Costa leaves and there would be too short a time to find his replacement.

Conte also has his eyes on a number of other strikers including Romelu Lukaku, and Alexis Sanchez.
Chelsea plan to add at least one experienced player to every position in their team as they prepare to partake in four competitions next season.

Real Madrid plan to sign a new striker next season, and have been linked with summer moves for a number of them. If they sign a new striker, Benzema would become available for clubs who wants his signature.
