Celtic manager Brendan Rogers is planning to continue dominating the Scottish top flight for the next few years at least. The Northern Irishman has helped Celtic gain a massive 100 points and go unbeaten in their local league this season.
He has now set his sight on rocking Scottish football even more and cracking it in Europe next season.
According to the British media, the former Liverpool manager is interested in signing his former player Lucas Leiva as well as Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda.
Lucas is very close to the Anfield exit door and almost joined Turkish giants Galatasaray during the winter transfer window. That move was blocked by Jurgen Klopp because of an injury crises Liverpool were facing at the time. With the Reds set to qualify for the Champions League and complete the signing of some top name players, the much-loved Brazilian could be allowed to leave.
Musonda has been impressing on-loan at Real Betis this season, and Brendan Rogers believes he can help unlock the player’s hidden talents. Chelsea are reportedly ready to sell the Belgian, but Rogers would prefer a temporary deal for the youngster first.
