Everton has placed a £100 Million valuation on their striker Romelu Lukaku. Lukaku is topping the scorers chart in the Premier League with 24 goals. His season can only get better and his performances has attracted the interest of several top European teams this season.
Lukaku has told Everton he is not going to sign a new deal at Goodison Park, and his manager Ronald Koeman confirmed that. However, the coach has told him he must respect the remaining two years of his current deal.
Lukaku was valued at £70 Million last season and there was interest in his services from China. But the Toffees did not receive any offer that matched their valuation of the striker.
Chelsea are in pole position to land Lukaku this summer, after Michael Emenalo convinced Antonio Conte to choose him over Alvaro Morata. Lukaku was sold by the Blues to Everton after an initial loan deal. It is believed that he is interested in returning to Stanford Bridge.
However, his former manager Jose Mourinho, now at Manchester United, also wants to sign him, this may start a tug of war between the two clubs.
It would be interesting to see which of them would be willing to pay £100 Million for his services.
