Chelsea are still very much in the mood for some transfer business after it emerged that the Blues are eyeing a move for four more players.
Antonio Conte has gotten his wish to sign Alvaro Morata as well as a centre back in Antonio Rudiger this summer, with the duo joined by Tiemoue Bakayoko, and Willy Caballero, but the Italian wants more.
Conte knows that competing in just the Premier League and FA Cup helped his players last season and that played a major role in their ultimate conquest of the Premier League and reaching the FA Cup final, however, with the addition of Champions League football, his squad needs reinforcement.
The Blues remain active in their pursuit of Virgil Van Dijk from Southampton, Antonio Candreva from Inter Milan, Alex Sandro from Juventus, and Fernando Llorente from Swansea. However, unlike Jose Mourinho who said if he gets one more signing he would be happy, it seems Conte would only be happy if he gets all four players.
Having just signed a new deal, Chelsea would feel they need to keep their manager happy by providing him with at least capable alternatives to the players he has asked for.
