It may seem as though Chelsea have ended the pursuit of their long term target, Alex Sandro, but reports in Italy are claiming that is far from the truth.
The British media are quoting a reputable Italian journalist who is claiming the Blues are still in the market for a new wing back and have found no other alternative to Sandro.
Sandro is one of the most sought after full backs in the world right now, after staring for Juventus in the Champions League and Serie A last season. With many suitors on his trail, the Old Lady set a £60 million asking price on him, that deterred several other suitors, but the Blues are refusing to go away.
Sandro is good at playing on both flanks even though he is primarily a left wing back, Conte wants him to star for him and bring out the best in Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso.
The Italian manager is looking for more reinforcements as he hopes to make a good impression in the Champions League as well as retain the Premier League title.
