Chelsea are reportedly monitoring Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to the Corriere del Mezzogiorno website.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho is eager to strengthen his defensive options, with John Terry coming to the end of his career.
And he has been eyeing up potential replacements, with Raphael Varane and Mats Hummels just a couple of names that have been mentioned.
Now Koulibaly is the latest name in the frame.
The versatile defender, who primarily plays at centre-back, started out at French club FC Metz.
But he has excelled at Napoli since his move and Mourinho’s scouts have been impressed by what they have seen.
