Middlesbrough is still very unwilling to do a deal with any team with regards to the sale of defender, Ben Gibson.
The England international was one of the shining lights of a Middlesbrough team that could not survive relegation last season, but put in some impressive performances personally that has attracted the interests of several top teams, and earned him a call-up to the England national team.
Boro is very reluctant to let him go, and they have fixed a fee of £25 million on his head. This figure may be too much for a player who could not help his team escape relegation last season.
Gibson has not spoken about his future recently, but many close to him believe he is having a hard time making a decision on a move especially as he is a local lad with strong emotional ties to the Teesiders.
Chelsea’s coach Antonio Conte sees him as a very important addition to his team especially as they look to increase the number of homegrown talent in their team. However, he is not their first choice in England, but Southampton’s Van Dijk.
Everton, Leicester and Tottenham are also interested.
