Chelsea are believed to be closing in on a move for Atletico Madrid left-back Filipe Luis.

Although right-back Cesar Azpilicueta has admirably impressed on the other side of defence this season, The Special One is still believed to be on the hunt for a long-term replacement for Ashley Cole, according to the Metro website

The English defender is hotly tipped to leave in the summer, as he has failed to re-gain a spot that has been his for so long.

And Luis is rated as one of the best left-sided defenders in La Liga, with some of his performances catching the eye of some of the games biggest clubs.

  1. I do not know why Mourinho like to crate problems with big players and finally sale them to satisfied his selfish disire. Mourinho must not sell Hazard or make any swap move just the way he sold our best player of the year Mata ,simple that he told him the truth of his defensive useless style is not working for us Chelsea, someone that do not take advice finally end up to be a spacialist in failure.
