Bayern Munich legend Franz Beckenbauer has claimed the German side do not need Chelsea target Arturo Vidal.
Vidal signed for Bayern from Juventus in a £28million deal this summer and has featured in all eight league games as Bayern have made a 100 per cent start to the Bundesliga season.
However, Beckenbauer to question the summer purchase.
“Bayern do not need Vidal,” the club’s honorary president told Sky Sports Deutschland.
“He is not fit, has played poorly, and should not take the field if he is not 100 per cent.”
