Almost nothing of any great interest regarding Chelsea this morning. There is nothing of any substance about players on their way to Stamford Bridge, but there is still a couple of little bits for the Chelsea faithful to chew on.
It turns out that Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante did not want to initially move to his former club Leicester City but rather Marseille, it came down to money and the Foxes offered more simple as that.(Sun)
Paris-Saint Germain star Marco Verratti has indicated that he wants to stay with the French Champions in pursuit of Champions League glory. Chelsea are among a number of clubs said to be interested in signing the 25 year old Italian. (TalkSport)
Another player not keen on a move to Chelsea is Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci. The 29 has reportedly said that he wants to see out his current contract with Juve, which runs until 2021. (Daily Mail)
Finally, Chelsea will have to pay as much as £70 million for Borussia Dortmund playmaker Marco Reus according to the latest reports, which is probably too steep even for the Blues. (Express)
