Chelsea has finally agreed to sell out-cast Diego Costa. The attacker has not played for the Blues this season after he was told he would not be part of Antonio Conte’s plans for the new season.
He has refused to return to the west London club this season after failing to secure a deal away from the Blues.
There were several top clubs who wanted the attacker this summer, however, he decided he would only join his former team Atletico Madrid.
The Spaniards had wanted to sign him on a cheap citing the fact that he was deemed surplus to requirements but the Blues insisted that his fall out with their manager did not represent any fall in value for the attacker.
Talksport via reports from Spain is claiming that the two teams have finally agreed on a deal for the attacker and he is expected to start training with the Madrid based side as soon as possible.
The fee is thought to be £53 million. Although he will not be able to play for the Spaniards until January, he will train with them as he hopes to get some form of fitness ahead of his competitive return.
