Chelsea hopes of signing Juventus star Alex Sandro has been dealt a major blow.
According to the latest reports, Chelsea offered 35 million pounds for the 26-year old, however, the Italian champions rejected the bid out of hand.
Apparently, Juventus will only entertain a bid in the region of 45 million pounds. Sandro has been monitored by the Blues for some time now and he is said to be one of Antonio Conte’s primary targets.
Sandro has been one of the most important players for Juventus this season and they would be loathed to let him go, however, if Chelsea does increase their offer then there is every likelihood that the old lady of Turin will agree to the transfer.
Sandro is not the only player from Juventus that Chelsea is interested in, they also want to sign Leonardo Bonucci though it is probably unlikely that the West London side will be able to persuade Juventus to sell both players.
It will be interesting to see which of the two players Chelsea manage to sign if any.
