Chelsea may buy-back two of their former players this summer. The Blues have been linked with a move for former protege, Ryan Bertrand.
Bertrand won the Champions League with Chelsea in 2012, but his development stalled at Stamford Bridge after that season, and the Blues sold him to Southampton for £10 million in 2015.
He has gone on to become one of the best full backs in the country, attracting the attention of several teams, among them his former employers.
Antonio Conte will sign at least one full back this season, and Ryan Bertrand has been suggested to him.
Chelsea re-signed Nemanja Matic and David Luiz after selling them, and the Blues are about to do the same for Bertrand. They are also in the running to sign their former striker, Romelu Lukaku.
Bertrand may have cost Southampton £10 million, but with no buy-back clause attached to the deal, it is believe he would cost the Blues at least double that amount to re-sign him.
Liverpool are also interested in signing Bertrand as they are looking for a natural left back to replace James Milner next season.
