Chelsea are reported to be clearing out some of their fringe players in order to make room for Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez.
According to reports, the Premier League holders are set to send Michy Batshuayi out on loan to Spanish side Sevilla.
The clubs have apparently agreed on terms for the Belgium international to join Sevilla this January.
Sevilla will pay Chelsea a fee of €1.5m for a six-month loan deal for Batshuayi, who is said to be very keen on the move following an unconvincing start to the first-half of the season at Stamford Bridge.
This is a World Cup year and the young striker is desperate for first team football so that he can be included in Belgium’s World Cup squad and at the moment his chances of regular action are limited and would become almost non-existent if Sanchez signs.
If Sanchez does not sign for Chelsea it is unlikely that it would have any impact on Batshuayi leaving this January.
