Chelsea, Man City and now PSG set for £45 million battle?
It has been rumoured that big spending French side PSG are set to join Chelsea and Manchester City in the battle to sign Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, as all three clubs look to add the £45 million rated star to their squads.
The Napoli striker is one of the most wanted men in Europe, and has been linked with a big money move to the Premier League, with both Chelsea and Manchester City reportedly on his trail.
A figure of £45million has been mentioned for the 25-year-old Uruguayan and, although the San Siro side are keen to keep him, an offer in that region would be very difficult to turn down.
And that fee would be no problem for PSG, who are backed by billionaire Qataris, and are desperate to break into Europe’s elite. (TalkSport)
The big Uruguayan has been in tremendous form for the last few seasons and has been the subject of transfer talk for a while, but with Napoli signing Giuseppe Rossi in this window they may look to cash in on the star and three of the world’s richest clubs could go head-to-head to acquire his services.
