Chelsea has joined Arsenal, Man Utd and Real Madrid in tracking Athletic Bilbao young sensation Kepa Arrizabalaga, according to reports in the media.
Arrizabalaga shot to prominence after becoming the first choice keeper at Bilbao and he is seen as a long-term replacement by all three English clubs for their established number ones.
Man Utd find themselves in a tricky position, if they win the race to sign the 23-year old that will see Real Madrid step up their interest in David de Gea, if Madrid succeeds in signing Arrizabalaga then they will likely lose interest in the United number one.
Arsenal clearly needs a new keeper to replace Petr Cech, who at 35 years of age is fast coming to the end of his top-flight career.
Chelsea for their part have reportedly already made enquiries about Arrizabalaga availability and are clearly serious about signing the youngster.
What makes this all the more interesting is that the young Spaniard is out of contract in the summer and he will either go for free then or for a nominal fee this January.
