Chelsea manager Antonio Conte feels his Chelsea team are unlucky with bookings after the Blues lost David Luiz to a second bookable offence when they faced Arsenal at the weekend. The Brazilian had been cautioned for a foul on Laurent Koscielny before clattering into Sead Kolasinac towards the end of the goalless draw with the Gunners.
The Blues have now received five red cards in their last eight games.
Antonio Conte thinks Luiz was upset having been fouled earlier by Alexis Sanchez with the referee failing to spot that particular incidence, and the Brazilian simply took out his frustration on the Bosnian.
Conte hopes his players get lucky with such situations henceforth.
The Blues failed to beat the Gunners for the first time after winning their previous five encounters at Stamford Bridge, it was also the first goalless draw between the two sides in over 12 years.
Luiz will miss the Blues next three games starting from the Carabao Cup game against Nottingham Forest and ending with the visit of Manchester City.
Chelsea is expected to appeal the ban but they have a very slim hope of getting the sentence reduced as Liverpool discovered last week about Saido Mane.
