Chelsea manager told he can buy any player he wants no matter the cost
Chelsea have promised to give their manager all the financial support he will need in this summer’s transfer window. This has given the Italian the impetus to add expensive players to his summer transfer list.
Conte, who is yet to sign a new Chelsea deal, has reportedly been told that no summer target is too big for the club to buy, and as such he should go ahead and identify any player that he thinks can help him achieve his goals.
Conte has reportedly added Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata among other superstars to his wish list.
Chelsea will likely win the League this season, and if they don’t they would at least qualify for the Champions League. This means that they would have to strengthen their squad with more experienced and talented players.
Conte was backed with more than £100 million last season, which he used in signing, David Luiz, N’Golo Kante, Marcos Alonso, and Michy Batshuayi.
Chelsea gave the Italian manager the target of returning the club to the Champions League, and he has met that. That is why they are willing to keep investing in his team.
