Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, is reportedly being lined up by Serie A outfit Roma as a loan singing in the January transfer window.
Fabregas, has found the game time hard to come by under new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, and has started only two games this season, which has lead to speculation that he could be moved on next month.
Roma have made an approach for the 29-year-old Spaniard, with a plan to take him on a six month loan ahead of a potential permanent transfer in the summer, according to Italian publication II Tempo.
AC Milan have also been credited with an interest in recent months, even though the delay of the club’s sale to a Chinese firm until March means that their business in the mid-season window will be limited.
Former Arsenal star Fabregas went from Barcelona to Stamford Bridge on a £28 million deal in 2014 and has had a mixed time with the Blues and it is increasingly likely that he will depart West London either in the winter or next summer.
