Chelsea open up talks with representative of Arsenal ace
Premier League leaders Chelsea have begun talks with the representative of Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez. The Blues believe the players declaration that he would love to remain in London and play for a team with “winning mentality” is an informal come-and-get-me plea to them.
According to reports in the French media, PSG have also began talks to woo the Chilean to the French capital. Sanchez is evidently fed up with Arsenal’s lack of ambition, and lack of quality investment in their playing squad. He has just 18 months left on his current deal and has rejected Arsenal offers of a new deal as they have failed to meet his wage demand.
Antonio Conte is a big fan of the player and is said to have informed the Chelsea board to get him the player as a condition before he signs a new deal.
Sanchez is a dynamic and fast forward that Chelsea lacks, Conte believes adding him to his team would give them a new dimension and help his other attackers flourish.
The last time a high profile player moved between Chelsea and Arsenal was when Petr Cech crossed to the Gunners from Chelsea.
