Chelsea have begun a full on last minute scouting exercise, as they look to make conclusions on whom to add to their team.
The Blues are planning a major overhaul this summer as they expect most of their stars to leave after winning the Premier League.
Among those targets scouted recently are Atalanta’s duo of Franck Kessie and Andrea Conti. It is reported that the Blues had their scout in attendance when Atalanta drew with Juventus last weekend.
Conti started the game and starred as expected, but Ivorian Kessie was introduced as a second half substitute as they continued their impressive season with a 2-2 draw.
Kessie, who is 20, is one of the most sought after youngsters in world football, and this may be his last season at Atalanta. He has also been the subject of interest from Liverpool and the two Manchester clubs.
Conti, 23, is being courted by Chelsea following his outstanding showing this season. Chelsea are looking to sign at least one full back this season, and Conte would love that to be his fellow country man, Conti.
