After signing Billy Gilmour, 16 from Celtic rivals, Rangers, Chelsea are set to return to raid Scotland of one of her most exciting youngsters this summer.
The Blues are reportedly interested in signing Celtic wonder kid Karamako Dembele. The 14 year is highly rated and one of the most talented youngsters in world football right now.
He has been impressing in the Celtic under 20’s set up since he was just 13 and helped the Scotland youth teams to victories over their bitter rivals England, and other nations.
He is eligible for both England and Scotland and played a game for the English youth side last season, but he looks set to continue representing Scotland.
His extraordinary talent has caught the eyes of Blues boss, Antonio Conte and he has asked the club’s chiefs to add him to their academy ranks.
Dembele only signed a new deal with Celtic in June and has made a lot of progress as a player since that time. Earlier this year, he helped Celtic win the Marc Overmars Tournament in the Netherlands, and his performance in that competition has made several clubs send scouts to watch him regularly.
The Blues are hoping they can tempt him and his family with a huge pay rise as well as better living conditions in London.
