Chelsea ready to do business with Barcelona for £40 million duo?
Chelsea are reportedly ready to do business with Spanish Champions Barcelona and sell defensive pair David Luiz and Branislav Ivanovic, in a move that would give them £40 million.
Brazilian defender Luiz is valued at £30m by the Blues, with Serb Ivanovic rated at £10m.
Incoming Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has already sanctioned the plan to cash in on the pair so he can raise funds for his own summer spending spree.
Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala, 22, is a top transfer target and the Frenchman is regarded as a direct replacement for Luiz. (Daily Star)
Both men have been brilliant this season and it would be strange to see Mourinho get rid of both of them when he makes a return. But fans will just have to wait and see what happens because until he is appointed manager, nothing will be confirmed.
