Chelsea is about to add another prospect to their team of youngsters, as the Blues close in on a move for exciting young Brazilian attacker, Richarlison.
Richarlison was set to join Ajax for £12 million and had already verbally committed to a 5 years deal with the Dutch giants, but Chelsea has joined the race for his signature and is set to add him to their academy.
The exciting youngster is adept at playing on the wing or as an attacker and has also attracted interest from Inter Milan and Sampdoria. He was also linked with moves to Manchester United and AC Milan, but his agent has come out to clarify that neither of the two clubs has made any contact with them regarding his transfer.
Chelsea already has a lot of top youngsters on their books with few making it through to the first team. This season alone they lost two of those, Dominic Solanke to Liverpool and Nathaniel Chalobah to Watford, with the duo knowing they would probably never get a chance to play in Chelsea’s first team.
