Missing out on Romelu Lukaku seems to have sparked life into Chelsea’s transfer business.
The Blues have been very quiet in the transfer window so far while their rivals have been busy completing deals for their targets. However, that is set to change as the Blues have moved to land two Real Madrid players.
British media is reporting that Chelsea is back for Alvaro Morata. The Spaniard was a target for the Blues after Antonio Conte recommended him to the club’s board, however, he was convinced that Romelu Lukaku was a better player. Now that the Belgian has joined their rivals Conte is keen to be reunited with Morata whom he signed for Juventus during his time as boss of the Old Lady.
The Blue are also interested in signing Brazilian full-back, Danilo. The defender struggled to beat Daniel Carvagal to the first team spot at the Bernabeu last season and may be interested in a move away.
Danilo made just 17 starts for Madrid last season, and Conte believes he can rival Victor Moses for the starting spot at Stamford Bridge.
