Chelsea right back Branislav Ivanovic,is being linked with a transfer to Crystal Palace next summer if the latest reports in the press are anything to go by.
Palace have two good reasons to be hopeful of landing the the Chelsea stalwart, he appears to no longer be a part of the future plans at Chelsea and his contract is running down.
The Serbian’s future at Chelsea is now very questionable, he is very unlikely to be offered a new contract and unless something dramatic changes then his days as a Chelsea player are numbered.
Ivanovic is an experienced right back and was considered one of the better players in his position, there is sure to be a whole host of clubs interested in signing him, not just Crystal Palace.
This would be a great deal for Crystal Palace, Ivanovic would be the perfect addition at Selhurst Park and would probably welcome a move to a club that will more or less guarantee him first team football in a top league.
Ivanovic moved to Chelsea from Lokomotiv Moscow back in January 2008, he has made 255 first team appearances for Chelsea and 90 international appearances for Serbia.
