Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma is keen to stay in London if he leaves Stamford Bridge on loan this season.
The French defender missed most of the 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 season through injury, and even though he recovered to play some part in Chelsea winning the league last season, the Blues still want him to leave and join another team on loan so that he can play more games.
Zouma does not lack suitors, but most of his suitors are across the border in France. With Marseille, Nice and Lyon all desperate to take him on-loan for at least one season.
However, Zouma has settled in London and prefers to remain in Premier League specifically London.
L’Equipe is claiming that Zouma is not interested in moving to France, and is looking for a London club that would offer him a chance for the next one year.
With the coming in of AS Roma defender Antonio Rudiger almost confirmed and the return of Andreas Christensen, first team opportunities are going to be rare for Zouma this season, but the Blues see him as an important part of their future and will not sell him just yet.
