The father of young Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen says they’re in talks over a new deal.
The 18 year old made his first senior start against Shrewsbury and now he is tipped to go on and potentially be the clubs top defender.
Now his father Sten has revealed that talks will be opened so he can pen a long-term contract.
As quoted on the Sky Sports website, he said: “We will now see how it turns out. He has just turned 18 years and learns alot by training with these world class stars.
“He can still wait for his chance, but at one point he will of course need to play to take the next step.
“Together, we have made a career plan and we feel that it is realistic.”
