As the transfer rumours continue to hit up, Premier League teams are continually in the news.
In today’s news, Premier League champions Chelsea are close to announcing the signing of their first summer recruit. Despite being linked with several players, the Blues have not made any significant signing just yet.
However, the British media are reporting that the Londoners have reached a compromise with Juventus for the transfer of wingback Alex Sandro.
The Brazilian is one of the best wing backs in the world right now, and his performances have not gone unnoticed. He helped Juventus win the league and Cup double, as well as reach the Champions League final last season.
Chelsea’s boss, Antonio Conte has made the Brazilian his number one defensive target this summer, and per the source, the transfer is almost completed.
Chelsea has reportedly met Juventus’ £61 million valuation of the Brazilian, and have been given permission to sign the defender. Except for any last minute delay, Sandro is expected to sign for Chelsea this week.
Conte is also interested in Sandro’s teammate Leonardo Bonucci, but Juventus are currently not interested in letting the Italian hard man leave.
