As Chelsea make plans to add some of the best players in Europe to their squad this summer, their Scouts all over Europe have begun bringing in their scouting reports for consideration.
One of the players that the Blues have scouted heavily this season is Russian youngster, Aleksandr Golovin and have made enquiries about the 20-year-old at his club.
Antonio Conte held a meeting with director sports Michael Emenalo where they discussed summer targets.
The Blues are currently eyeing deals for Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk, and Monaco’s Tiemenoue Bakayoko.
Conte has previously talked about avoiding the disappointment Chelsea had last season finishing 10th in the league just a year after winning the league title the previous season.
Conte believes that they need to add more players to their squad as the added games from other competitions next season will definitely lead to injuries, stress and even burnout from regular players.
According to Conte he never rests on his laurels and hates to hear people talk about relaxing. He would rather enjoy his success than relax about it.
