In the latest news involving Chelsea and their youngsters, it appears as though more would follow the likes of Tammy Abraham and make a temporary move away from Stamford Bridge.
Reports in the media today are claiming that Brighton and Hove Albion are planning to sign young midfielder Izzy Brown. The England youth international spent last season on loan at Huddersfield Town and helped them gain promotion to the top flight after a long absence.
Huddersfield is still interested in helping him continue his development, but Chelsea is keeping their options open as they are considering other clubs who could offer the player more playing time.
Speaking to reporters from his club’s Austrian preseason camp, Brighton boss, Chris Hughton revealed that they are currently working on a number of targets, which included Izzy Brown.
Brown is one of the many in-demand youngsters coming through at the London club with many questioning if they have a future at the club at all. Dominic Solanke has joined Liverpool permanently after spending last season on loan, while Nathaniel Chalobah is also expected to complete a permanent switch to Watford in the coming days.
