Chelsea is set to allow one of their academy’s best prospects to leave Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis.
According to the Daily Mail, the Blues who have lost Dominic Solanke to Liverpool are prepared to sell another of their academy product after his career failed to kick on last season.
Charly Musonda is set to leave Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis. The Belgian youth international’s career started very well last season, as he impressed on loan at Real Betis. But his return to the Spanish team this season did not yield the same result, as he started just one game before January. The Blues recalled him in January, and despite being fully fit he failed to make a single appearance for them.
Former Chelsea youth coach, Brendan Rogers is set to offer him another chance to fulfil his obvious potential. Per the source, the Northern Irish man is prepared to take a risk on Musonda and sign him up for Celtic.
Rogers has helped several players restart their career in the past most recently former Swansea winger Scot Sinclair.
