Chelsea is on the verge of losing out on the signing of another summer target. The Blues have faced large frustrations in getting their summer targets this summer, and that looks set to continue.
Reports in Italy are quoting Juventus manager Max Alegri saying Alex Sandro will not be leaving the Old Lady this summer. Sandro has been a target of Conte all summer long, but Juventus made it impossible for the Blues to sign him after they quoted a £60 million valuation for the defender. The Blues were hoping to reach a compromise after they got tipped off that Sandro is unwilling to sign an extension to his current deal after the Blues offered him 20% more than what Juve are offering.
However, Juve who have already lost Leonardo Bonucci, and Dani Alves are determined to keep hold of Sandro.
Alegri was quizzed on the Brazilian’s future after Juve’s match with AS Roma, and he praised the player’s qualities before going on to say, he is going nowhere this summer.
Sandro has not asked to leave and many believe his refusal to sign the new contract being offered to him is just a ploy to get Juve to offer him more money.
