If Liverpool wants to sign one of their summer transfer target, they may have to act fast as his club has set a price and date that his transfer must be complete.
The Reds have been pursuing the signature of Borussia Dortmund Attacker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for some time now, with the German club unwilling to sell. However, that stance has since changed and they have now set and asking price for the Gabonese attacker.
Speaking on the future of Aubameyang Borussia Dortmund president, Hans-Joachim Watzke admitted that if any club made an offer that is financially interesting, they would sit down and discuss it with the club.
It is believed that Dortmund is looking to sell the attacker for a fee in the region of £63 million, but want to avoid being put in a situation where it would be hard for them to replace the attacker. Because of this, the club has set before the start of the preseason as the period for any club who is interested in the attacker to come for him.
Liverpool has completed their first major signing this summer, after agreeing on a deal with AS Roma for the transfer of Mohammed Salah. The Reds will now focus on other areas of their team, with their attack one of those positions that need reinforcement.
