Torino coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, has admitted that it would be difficult to keep star striker Andrea Belotti at the club beyond this summer. The Serbian tactician believes both the club and player wants to stay together, but nobody can predict the future, a move away might be best for him now that he is in top form.
Belotti is a transfer target for some of Europe’s top teams including Manchester United, Juventus, and Chelsea. But, the Blues seem to be the most serious suitors for the Italian.
Antonio Conte wants the 23 years old to replace the unsettled Diego Costa next season. Costa has refused to rule out a move from Chelsea, and it is believed that he got his head turned by the mega money offer from the Chinese league during the January transfer window.
Mihajlovic hopes Belotti stays, but has given a hint that money could play a huge role in the player’s future. Belotti has an £85 million release clause written into his current deal, although it can only be activated by foreign clubs, according to him, if a club comes with an offer of over £6 million per season in wages, that could turn the player’s head.
