Conflicting reports coming from Spain states that the future of Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan is still a long way from being sorted out.

Last week Dario Gol reported that the player was close to signing for Arsenal, per the source, the Gunners were ready to accept Barca’s offer for Hector Bellerin if they would add the Turkish midfielder to the deal, because Arsenal wants him to replace the outgoing Mesut Ozil.

But reports this week says that the Gunners are not interested in the play maker and would settle for an all cash deal if Barcelona wants to sign Bellerin.

Hector Bellerin has been linked with a move to Barcelona from last season, the Catalans tried to sign him, but the Gunners were able to successfully sign the defender on to a new deal.

Arsenal are looking for new reinforcements in the midfield, even if they successfully tie Ozil down to a new contract, they would still need a new midfielder to support the German, however it seems it would not be Arda Turan.

Turan has scored 13 goals and provided 7 assists this season
