Director announces £26 million man “would be happy” to seal much talked about Chelsea deal

Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado would be happy to make his transfer to Juventus permanent after a fine start on loan in Turin, says Director General Giuseppe Marotta.

The Colombian endured a difficult time at Stamford Bridge since moving from Fiorentina in January, but has quickly re-established himself in Serie A.

‘He’s expressed his happiness at being here with us, and [his happiness to] continue here in future,’ Marotta said on the Sky Sports website.

‘We’ll look at things with Chelsea at the appropriate time, but it’s very likely that there will be a good conclusion.’
