England International Calum Chambers is hoping he will finally get another run in the Arsenal first team, writes Mirror Football ‘s John Cross.
Chambers has struggled to hold down a regular place since his move from Southampton 14 months ago, but believes that he can force his way into the side with a number of decent performances.
The 20-year-old said: “It said a lot about the character and belief of the lads. We showed a lot of character to keep our faith, keep our composure and get the win.
“You want to get the results, and build up momentum. So, hopefully, we can take what we learned into the next game.
“It would be nice to get a few games under my belt. But any opportunity I am given… I have been training hard so when I get the opportunity, I can give my best performance, to show why I feel I want to be playing.”
